Star Combo Pharma Appoints Former TGA Evaluator Dr D. Kumarasinghe to Support Manufacturing Expansion

SMITHFIELD, NSW- Australian contract manufacturer Star Combo Pharma (ASX: S66) has appointed regulatory scientist and former Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) evaluator Dr D. Kumarasinghe to a senior leadership role as the company expands its manufacturing capabilities across multiple nutraceutical dosage formats.

The appointment comes as Star Combo completes the expansion of its Sydney manufacturing facility, strengthening its capabilities across soft gels, hard capsules, tablets, powders, sachets, liquids and therapeutic gummies.

Dr Kumarasinghe brings extensive experience in regulatory assessment, quality systems and product compliance, further enhancing Star Combo's ability to support customers developing products for the Australian complementary medicines market. His expertise will contribute to quality assurance, validation programs, regulatory compliance and manufacturing oversight across the company's operations.

The milestone facility expansion addresses growing demand for Australian made complementary medicines in both domestic and export markets. By integrating multiple dosage formats within a single manufacturing site, Star Combo aims to provide brands with a streamlined approach to product development and commercial production. The crown jewel of this expansion is the advanced automated production line, engineered to output up to twenty million pieces per day of precision-dosed, medical-grade capsules.

A key component of the expansion is a new automated production line designed to increase manufacturing capacity and support large volume production requirements for local and international customers.

"Our expanded manufacturing capabilities, combined with Dr Kumarasinghe's regulatory expertise, further strengthen our ability to support customers from product concept through to commercial production," said Su Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of Star Combo Pharma.

"Many brands seek a manufacturing partner that can provide multiple dosage formats while maintaining high quality and regulatory standards. This investment enables us to offer broader capabilities under one roof while supporting the continued growth of Australian made nutraceutical products."

The facility supports a wide range of product categories, including immune health, sleep support, cognitive health, beauty supplements and children's nutrition products. All manufacturing is conducted under TGA licensed operations in Australia.

With validation activities completed and commercial production underway, Star Combo is now accepting enquiries from Australian and international brands seeking contract manufacturing and product development services.
